Monash Uni Soccer

The 2009 Monash University Sport Awards were held on Thursday 19th of November. Known previously as the Blues awards, this event celebrated the 2009 sporting achievements of Monash University students.

Among the award-winners of 2009 was Monash University Soccer Club's own Nicholas Burris, who received a "Half Blue" award based on his 2009 performances for MUSC men's senior team.

Nick's success at MUSC in 2009 included picking up the senior team's Best & Fairest award and placing second in the Players' Player polling. He also finished 3rd in the club's scoring charts - all this despite only making his first start of the season in round 12 after recovering from a serious injury suffered in pre-season.

The club extends its sincerest congratulations to Nick on his latest achievement and wishes him further success with MUSC in the near future.
