Monash University Soccer Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Sparrow as the women’s senior coach, and Owen Liiv as the women’s reserves coach.

Jason joined MUSC for the 2009 season as coach of the women’s reserves team.  He has over 25 years of experience as a player both in England and Australia, and has recently completed a degree in Sports Management.  Jason has developed strong relationships with the playing group, which will be thrilled to see Jason return at the helm in 2010.

Owen joins the club with coaching experience in the UK & US, having obtained some of his coaching qualifications with the Tottenham Hotspurs Football Club. He has over 20 years of football experience and also has a Sports and Recreation Management degree.  MUSC is delighted to welcome Owen to the club.

The club is still looking for a coach for a newly created women’s third team.

Pre-season training for the women will commence at the end of January.  Dates and venues will be announced in the new year.
