MUSC World Cup 2010 Auction was held last night inside the packed social area of the club's pavilion.

While fog and freezing weather descended onto the pitches outside, the passions and the bidding were running hot inside, as the chief club auctioneer Jonathan Jhoomun (aka JJ) was able to expertly arouse the crowd visibly exhausted after a vigorous training session. After a slow start with group A - where France went for a miserly $15 - the emotions and the shaky arms were flying up high as the bidders went to war over powerhouses in groups G and H such as Brazil ($210) and Spain ($310).
