The committee is hereby giving notice to all MUSC members of a Special General Meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday 25 June 2009 from 9:30 pm onwards in the MUSC social area.

As part of the committee’s goal of being more organised, and in keeping with Monash University and Football Federation Victoria (FFV) requests, the committee has drafted a set of rules to govern the club’s activities (see Rules and Policies section in the Members-only area). These rules have been created with the assistance of Consumer Affairs Victoria and FFV.

In order for these rules to no longer be considered draft, and to become the rules of the club, a special general meeting of the club’s members is being held to vote on (and confirm) the rules. As part of this process the club’s mission statement (see Rules and Policies section in the Members-only area) will also be voted on. The agenda for the meeting is located in the Meetings->General Meetings section of the Members-only area. Note you will need to be a registered member and logged in to access these files.

The meeting will be held following training and announcement of men’s teams on Thursday 25 June (starting at approximately 9:30 pm) in the Monash University Soccer Club social area. If you are not able to attend, the committee suggests you nominate a proxy (you will need to notify the committee, there is a form in the draft rules) to attend and vote on your behalf.
