Membership rules of Monash University Soccer Club include a player bond system known as Club Accredited Points Scheme (CAPS). Player bonds are about creating a system which encourages players to participate in the running of the club. Too much work has previously been done by too few and this scheme has been designed to encourage all players help the club operate. Each player at the club is required to pay an $80 bond together with their season-registration fees. After payment of the bond, the player is then allowed to sign-up for a certain number of jobs. Each job has an amount of points associated with it. Once the player has accumulated 10 points, they are then refunded their bond. Any extra points earned above the required 10 are also fully paid out to the player. For further information on CAPS, please see the table of available tasks below, or check out the Frequently Asked Questions page. Details of each task can be found in the CAPS Instructions section of the website.
How to earn CAPS pointsPlayers can earn CAPS points by taking on any of the following tasks:
* Note that when more than one player requests a task, priority will be given to members who are yet to accumulate 10 points and earn back their bonds. |
